Petco’s nationwide liquid board packaging (LBP) activation drive recently made its way to East London, where we briefed more than 50 buy-back centre owners and waste pickers on the benefits of stepping up the collection of LBP.
On the day, our buy-back liaison officers shared guidelines on how to effectively identify, separate and collect LBP, while also encouraging attendees with incentives – such as cellphones, personal protective equipment, branded caps and gloves – to grow its collection. It’s one of the ways we are building a sustainable value chain for this valuable recyclable packaging.
