The Petco Empowerment Fund is an exciting initiative that directly supports small and medium-sized recycling enterprises (SMMEs) in South Africa, providing accessible finance, along with pre- and post-investment support. 

The Fund plays a vital role in bridging the gap between small entrepreneurs and traditional banking, giving recycling entrepreneurs the leg-up they need to improve efficiency or expand. We invite businesses to contribute to the Fund, earning B-BBEE points and tax benefits. Participation in the Fund strengthens the collection and recycling value chain, ensuring a strong and more inclusive recycling landscape in South Africa.
