As part of an ongoing partnership between Petco and AECI, we recently held a launch event – attended by various media, stakeholders and industry decision-makers – at Vaalpark Recycling Centre in Sasolburg to highlight the sponsorship and support the centre has received from AECI since its establishment in 2014.

One of the event’s objectives was to assess how the Vaalpark Recycling Centre has grown and increased its business revenue, following the support from Petco and AECI.

We were encouraged by the increased income opportunities created by the buy-back centre. It further highlights how Petco’s collaboration with AECI is contributing to the minimisation of waste by driving the collection of recyclable packaging and supporting businesses that are committed to making a tangible difference.
