We had a great turnout of almost 90 enthusiastic delegates when Petco partnered with the City of Tshwane to host a recycling workshop in November.

At the workshop, we helped metro employees and Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) workers learn more about collection and recycling.

The EPWP workers already have good experience in cleaning up the city, so by equipping them with the additional knowledge and skills around collection and recycling, we are giving them the tools to go on and earn another form of income when their EPWP contracts expire.

Petco is concerned with the well-being of all in society, and we are pleased to be able to empower everyone to contribute positively in some way through cleaning up and recycling.
