Deep beneath a heap of bottles, cartons
and packaging,
something began to shake.

Then suddenly, out popped five strange
and magical little creatures.

Inspired by “jiki-jiki” (‘turn around’ in isiXhosa), the Jikis escaped,
and set off across South Africa, singing, dancing and showing
everyone that recycling is fun.

So join in with the Jikis. And let’s all
Jiki Jiki for change
