Fair Trade Tourism and PETCO present, ‘No Time to Waste’.

Plastic is one of the most utilised materials today. Strong, durable, and cost effective, it is used for many different purposes. However, its impact on marine life & the environment is now considered one of the world’s greatest threats. In response to this, PETCO and Fair Trade Tourism are hosting a series of workshops around SA on responsible waste management.

The first of these workshops, aptly called ‘No Time to Waste’, will be held in Plettenberg Bay in the Western Cape. The aim of this event is to make moves towards solving the plastic waste crisis, as well as provide holistic waste management training from the Fair Trade Tourism sustainability toolkit.

The cost of the event is R200 per person, and is subsidised for one member of each Fair Trade Tourism organisation.
